Mumtrepreneur Awards
Brand identity and website design for the Mumtrepreneur Awards – an aspirational awards programme geared towards working mothers making waves with their businesses.
The Fly Buys Mumtrepreneur Awards are an opportunity for working mums to show what they're made of. Gaining nationwide exposure and acclaim for their success in their careers while balancing family life, the women who the Awards speak to are creative and driven.
Being fresh to New Zealand, this Awards competition required an aspirational brand – one that had a sense of energy, professionalism, savvy and soul.
In response, a unique logo marque was crafted to encompass the various categories within the Awards (agriculture, arts, food & bev, technology etc) while also being beautiful and easy to apply across all media. Like a modern-day cameo, our Mumtrepreneur is proud and confident.
A set of photographs capturing our mums in work and family mode were art directed and shot for use primarily on the website, and a set of 'icons' illustrating award categories and the prizes were created.
The mobile web experience was a critical part of the project strategy, and required a fully responsive approach. There were only five weeks from brand identity / concepts to launch. In the first month there were over 13,000 unique visitors to the Mumtrepreneurs site and entries exceeded forecasts.
